Since its creation in 1979 by François Schlosser, TERRASOL bas been able to adapt to this evolution and develop its specialised know-how through rigour, imagination and dialogue with its partners and clients.
With its integration in 1999 into the SETEC group of multi-disciplinary consultants, TERRASOL has been able to maintain total independance of contractors or financial organisations.

Some examples are slopes reinforcement, with the development of soil nailing starting in the early 1980s, reinforcement of foundations by rigid inclusions, tunnelling in soft ground and notably the stability and reinforcement of the tunnel face and soil improvement (jet-grouting and other recent techniques).
The team and resources
TERRASOL's strength is derived from its team of some 30 engineers specialised in geology and soil and rock mechanics. Most possess complementary competencies in the civil engineering areas that interface with geotechnics - structural design, construction materials, hydraulics, construction techniques.
As a result, all team members, through their training, professional development and experience, contribute to the richness of skills that makes the TERRASOL multi-disciplinary approach possible.
