Professional committees and working groups
CFMS (French Committee for Soil Mechanics)

A. GUILLOUX has been a member since the 1970's and has occupied the following positions:

  • President of the Technical Committee (1994-2000)
  • Member of the Council from 2000 to 2008
  • Vice-President of CFMS from 2000 to 2006
  • President of CFMS from 2006 to 2010

V. BERNHARDT has been elected to the Council in 2009.

H. LE BISSONNAIS has been elected to the Technical Committee in 2010.

CFMR (French Committee for Rock Mechanics)

TERRASOL is represented at AFPS by A. BERGERE.
AFTES (French Association for Underground Works)

A. GUILLOUX has participated in the working groups about shotcrete and bolting.

H. LE BISSONNAIS is member of:

  • working group n°30 : « Dimensionnement du boulonnage en tunnels » since 2003
  • working group n°32 : « Incertitudes et risques géologiques » since 2009

A. GUILLOUX has been a member since 1994 of Technical Committee n°28 « Underground Construction in Soft Ground ».
IREX (Institut pour la Recherche appliquée et l'Expérimentation en génie civil)

B. SIMON is the Technical manager of the French National Research Project ASIRI « Inclusions rigides » (stiff inclusions), which was started in 2005.
He also participates in the French National Research Project SOLCYP (behaviour of piles under cyclic loading).
FSTT (Comité Français pour les Travaux sans Tranchée)

A. GUILLOUX was the Technical manager of the French National Research Project « Microtunnels » (1994-2002).
